Spend the week exploring and experimenting with a variety of theatre styles with Creative Mash. Working collaboratively, participants will imagine, devise, and perform original theatre pieces while discovering what it means to create and work within a company dynamic. Build confidence, strengthen your performance skills, and develop new creative abilities throughout the week. Family and friends are invited to enjoy a short showcase on the final day.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
A week of practical theatre-making for young performers aged 11-16. Whether you're completely new to drama, have grown up with Creative Mash, or already love performing, these welcoming workshops are designed to help you explore and develop your creativity. Discover devising, improvisation, script work, character development, monologues, ensemble performance, voice and movement techniques through fun, hands-on sessions. Each day also includes a dance and movement class, plus a relaxing crafts session, where participants create posters, invitations, props and set pieces for their final performance.
WHAT TO BRING
- A nut-free packed lunch and a nut-free snack
- A refillable water bottle
CLOTHING and EXTRAS
- Weather-appropriate layers and comfortable shoes (we may go outside for a walk)
- A sun hat and sunscreen in the summer
END OF THE WEEK PERFORMANCE
The performance will be on the last day of the workshop, at 3pm.
